Medi 1 Radio, formerly Medi 1, is an international radio station founded in 1980 in Tangier. The result of Franco-Moroccan cooperation, it was the first private radio station in the Arab world. Medi 1 Radio broadcasts in Arabic and French with programming covering Maghreb, Arab world, and international news. The station is recognized for the quality of its journalism and political debates. It broadcasts on 97.0 FM and is listened to across the Maghreb and beyond.
